By car from the M25
Take junction 29 onto the A127 towards London. Take the 3rd left (there is a slip road and big arrows on the road), and at the end of the slip road turn left onto Hall Lane. Follow this road into Upminster, passing Upminster Train Station on you right, and at the big junction immediately afterwards turn right onto St Mary's Lane (A124). Just before Upminster Bridge Underground Station turn left into Norfolk Road and go straight over three mini roundabouts, carrying on into Derby Avenue. Go through one more mini roundabout, and at the next turn right into Chelmsford Drive. St Matthew's will be on your right.
By train
The nearest train station is Emerson Park. This is slightly too far to be within 'easy' walking distance, so we would recommend getting a taxi.
Upminster Bridge Underground Station is within walking distance, however. Turn right as you come out of the station, and take the first right onto Norfolk Road. At the third mini roundabout turn right into Newbury Gardens, and left into Chelmsford Drive. The church will be on your left.
