Mission without Borders
Mission Without Borders is a Christian organisation helping those people in the six most improvised countries of the world to improve their lives. These people live without a national health service or state benefits. The families and individuals can be living in one room and sharing other facilities or just sleeping on the floor of someone else’s rooms because they have nowhere to go or money to live on.
The charity has supported over 1,900 families with a unique family to family programme. This programme encourages people that can to donate in support of a family or individual. The mission work with the family closely for five years to assess and help them through the difficulties they have which can include addiction and violence along with the extreme poverty. It helps them get a better start by building the skills with training and sets them on a different path to improve and change their circumstances. They provide clothes, food and education along the way to encourage families or individuals to become self-sufficient and encourage the set up of micro enterprises to support themselves going forward. Families and individuals are encouraged in their faith and in doing so find a community who understands and will help them progress with their lives.
To continue their work support is needed, please pray for this mission and the families or individuals they help and if possible help the Mission without Borders to continue their work by donating in the following ways:
1. Giving a cheque to St Andrew’s parish payable to ‘Hornchurch PCC’ clearly mark on the reverse as ‘Charity of the Month Mission without Borders’, which we will then collect together and send as donations at the end of the month.
2. Give direct to the charity via their website Mission Without Borders
