We are sad to announce the death of Revd Shirley Papworth on 4th January from Covid. Shirley was the hospital Chaplin for St Georges hospital Hornchurch for many years and she continued to help within the parish once the hospital closed and even took services in the neighbouring parish of Holy Cross when they were in an interregnum. She will be missed by all who knew and worked with her.
