Sponsor a child with Christian Hope International
The parish has been involved with this organisation for many years. We have given items for the ‘Containers of Hope’, and ’Stitches of Hope’ knitted blankets, jumpers, hats, etc to supply others with warm clothing for the winter. The ‘Stitches of Hope’ is an ongoing project.
Each year our own children start or move to new schools and we as parents pay for all they need to do this like uniforms and pens, etc. Those in Rwanda and Uganda are not so financially well placed and struggle to provide these things. This is especially true for children with special needs. There is no state education system.
Sponsorship at the Aunt Louise School is a little different from other areas.
All the children and young people have special needs, for many it is the only home they have. Edward and Louise offer a home and an education depending on ability and need. They have no regular income and they survive by God’s grace. Support for each child will be of benefit to them all and will primarily cater for their basic needs and medication.
The parish would like to support one of these children for the year at a cost of £180.00. We are hoping and praying that some of you may be able to contribute to this cause. Even if you can only contribute a small amount, together we can unite and provide one of these children with the support they desperately need.
