Funerals
St Andrew's is available for funerals. Arrangements are made through your chosen Funeral Director who will liaise with the Parish Office.
The Parish offers bereavement support via one to one visits, or through the Stepping Stones group.
Stepping Stones
If you have been recently bereaved and would like to talk or share your experiences with others, then 'Stepping Stones' may be a group which will be of interest to you. We meet at Church House, North Street (corner of Westland Avenue), Hornchurch from 4pm to 5:30pm on the first Sunday of each month. You are welcome to drop in at any time for a cup of tea and a chat.
If you want to talk privately to a bereavement visitor there will be an opportunity to do that during the meeting.
Meetings are held on the first Sunday of every month.
Aims
The aims of the Stepping Stones group are:
- To provide support and a listening ear in your bereavement
- To help reduce feelings of isolation
- To help you to gain the confidence to move forward in your life
