Healing Team
The Healing Team was commissioned on 5th March 2001 to offer prayer ministry at all four churches within our parish. The team consists of members from all four churches. Members of the team will have spent many months in preparation for the ministry, which is offered to anyone who seeks prayer, either for themselves or for others known to them.
Members of the Healing Team usually work in pairs in line with the way Jesus sent out his disciples ‘two by two’ : Mark 6 v 7; Luke 10 v 1.
All prayer is offered sensitively and is totally confidential. It is available after the main service at:
St Andrew’s
9am 3rd Sunday of the month
10.30am every Sunday
6.30pm 4th Sunday of the month
St George’s
10.30am 2nd and 3rd Sunday of the month
6.30pm 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month
St Matthew’s
10.30am 1st Sunday of the month
Occasionally this ministry is asked for at other times or in other places such as hospitals or home visits; this can be arranged via the Clergy.
